What do you charge for case evaluations and representation?
We offer free case evaluations at Casper, Meadows, Schwartz & Cook. If we review your case and decide that our firm is able to represent you, we will advance all the investigation and prosecution costs involved with your case. If we obtain compensation on your behalf, our payment will be taken from the recovery. If we do not obtain compensation on your behalf, you will owe us nothing.
Who works on my case?
Your case will be handled by one of the partners at our firm. We do not have our cases handled by a less experienced associate and only have the partner be a part of a select few aspects of the case. The partner in the firm will be involved from start to finish.
Will I have to go to trial?
We prepare every case for trial; however, many cases settle. We strive to settle your case before trial, but are ready if it proceeds to the next stage. This level of preparation is crucial in fighting for the maximum amount of compensation in either a verdict or a settlement.
How much compensation am I eligible for?
Because every case and every client are different, there are a number of factors that determine the outcome of a case, including the type of accident, type of injury, medical care received, loss of income and other losses (referred to in the law as damages). While we cannot guarantee an outcome, our firm has a reputation for obtaining maximum financial compensation for our clients.
What is a statute of limitations?
A statute of limitations governs the time between when you were injured and when you need to file a lawsuit. If you wait too long to file a lawsuit, you may become unable to pursue compensation for your injury. If you believe you may have a case, contact an attorney immediately for more information.
